Is-sinjal għal SOGĦLA XOTTA għandha żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel jsir is-sinjal għal SOGĦLA b’id waħda forma ta’ ponn bil-pala tħares ’l isfel. Il-ġenb tal-ponn jaħbat ħafif mas-sider xi darbtejn jew tlieta. L-għajnejn jitbexqu ftit. (ii) Imbagħad isir is-sinjal għal NIEXEF jew XOTT. Dan isir biż-żewġ idejn li jieħdu l-forma ta’ B milwija, fin-nofs ħdejn xulxin bil-pala tħares ’il ġewwa. Is-saba’ l-kbir joħroġ ’il barra waqt li s-swaba’ l-oħra jingħalqu. L-id iddur biex tiġi bil-pala tħares ’il fuq.
The sign for DRY COUGH has two parts. (i) The first part is the sign for COUGH made with one hand in the shape of a fist with palm facing downwards. The side of the fist taps on the chest twice or three times. The eyelids close a little. (ii) Then the sign for DRY is made with both hands in the shape of bent B at the middle near each other with the palms facing inwards. The thumb extends outwards whilst the other fingers bend closed and the hand turns so that the palm faces upwards.
